This class is designed to challenge your child to train their body and mind, developing focus, strength, control, and confidence.  Respect has always been a fundamental rock of Taekwon-Do, but we strive not only to encourage outward respect to instructors, parents, and peers, but to Self as well. 

White, Yellow, and Green Belts will receive specific training in agility, punching, kicking, striking, blocking, stances, flexibility, and balance.  They will also practice simulating sparring in the form of one-step drills with no contact.  Students will learn the TKD forms that accompany their belt rank.

Blue, Red, Pre-Black, and Black Belts are given their own mid-week class to build upon the skills they were taught as lower belts.  They will increasingly practice sparring drills and light contact sparring, learning body control.  As they learn the forms required for each belt, they will be challenged to understand the deeper meaning attached to them with attention to proper technique.  Students will have cardiovascular challenges in this class, encouraging endurance and mental focus. 

All belts will learn the tenets of Taekwon-Do: Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control, and Indomitable Spirit.
